Items Needed for M18 Women’s Facility

  • Clothes and Shoes
    • Note: At M18 we will only dress modest. There will be NO cleavage, no crop tops or belly shirts, no shorts above finger tips, no dresses above fingertips, or skirts above fingertips, and nothing see-through.
    • Things to bring:
      • 15 Outfits or less.
        • Outfit Ideas
          • Casual – Spring / Summer: T-shirt, Pants, Leggings with a Shirt that Fully Covers Front / Back, Shorts none past your finger tips, Sweatshirts, Hoodies
          • Dress Clothes for Church – Our church is casual. You will feel welcomed wearing casual clothes and if you want to wear a dress or something dressier, please follow the guidelines above.
          • Work Out Clothes: Yoga Pants / Leggings, T-shirts, make sure front is covered and back
      • Bring Pajamas (Shirts and Pants, Shirt and Shorts, or Long Night Gown)
      • Bring Plenty Underwear, Socks, and 2 Bra’s
      • Shoes: Weather appropriate. Sandals, sneakers, boots, dress shoes.
      • Swimwear: One piece or tankini only, full coverage as much as possible, must wear a cover up with it when not in water.
      • PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, YOU WILL BE SHARING A ROOM WITH 3 OTHER WOMEN, PLEASE PACK LIGHTLY.
  • Personal Hygiene Items
    • Shampoo
    • Conditioner
    • Razors
    • Make-Up (MUST BRING A MAKE-UP BAG)
    • Brush
    • Hair Tools
    • Tampons / Pads
    • Blow Dryer provided but can bring your own
      • We will make weekly Walmart trips, so you can buy these items frequently
  • Laundry Detergent (High Efficiency Only) 
  • Medication (all medication, including OTC, will be given to our Admin for approval)
  • Bible (we will also give you one)
  • Snacks (if you want them)
  • Personal Cash (we take frequent trips to the store)
  • Backpack
  • Purse / Wallet
  • We are a smoke-free and vape-free facility but we do allow snus packets, nicotine gum, and lozenges
  • Pictures of family (no frames, just the picture, option to hang these up on personal cork board, by bed)
  • BEDDING & PILLOW IS PROVIDED, DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN
  • Bring License or some form of ID
  • Bring insurance card, if you have insurance
  • Bring food stamp card, if you have one
  • Bring all documentation of court dates, probation and or parole information, and or any other documentation needed, like child custody paperwork, if applicable

Items Prohibited

  • No devices capable of telecommunication or internet access (video games, cell phones, iPods, ipads, tablets, computers, etc.)
  • No distasteful movies or music (rated R, horror, sexual scenes, etc.)
  • No over-the-counter medication or sleep aid is to be brought or left with the resident  (unless approved by M18 Staff)
  • WE ARE A TOBACCO-FREE VAPE-FREE FACILITY
